Field

Any events, parties, tours; etc. that occurs at Haymarket Park should be coordinated in conjunction with Lincoln Saltdogs Baseball.  For event scheduling and availability please contact the Director of Stadium Operations at Haymarket Park at 402-474-2255.  All events will be booked on a first come first serve basis.  The joint operating agreement between the University of Nebraska and Lincoln Pro Baseball will be followed as to the priority of scheduling events at Haymarket Park.

Rules & Guidelines

The following rules and guidelines apply to the baseball and softball field usage at Haymarket Park (where applicable):

• No batting practice on the field is permitted; Batting cages will be available in the right field bullpen
• No practice on the field will be permitted
• No pepper on the field or in front of the dugouts
• No hitting baseballs/softballs into the chain link fences
• All warm-up throws must cross a foul line
• No warm-ups or stretching in the grass in front of the dugouts
• The gates for the field will open 1 ½ hours before the game
• No post-game workouts on the field
• Teams are expected to clean the dugouts after use
• Home team infield will take place at 25 minutes past the hour, for 10 minutes (if applicable)
• Visiting team infield will take place at 35 minutes past the hour for 10 minutes (if applicable)
